Ten individuals were injured, four critically, and three regulation enforcement officials were hurt Monday evening after gunfire erupted in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, in keeping with police.

“There’s quite a lot of weapons that were fired. Handguns, long guns, 223 rounds. If anyone doesn’t know what a 223 spherical will do, it’ll blow your leg right off, it’ll blow your head right off your shoulders. These are the forms of rounds that had been fired last night,” Reynolds stated.
He said there were “a pair totally different teams capturing at one another usually.”
“As we stand here right now, we’re lucky we don’t have a dead cop or dead citizen or lifeless group members," Reynolds stated.
The investigation is ongoing and officers are nonetheless working the scene.
Two people have been arrested stemming from the assaults on the deputies, police mentioned.
Those suspects had been identified as Ayesha McGee and Tahira McGee, NBC affiliate of WCBD of Charleston reported, citing reports from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.
Ayesha McGee was charged with third-degree assault and battery and Tahira McGee with second-degree assault and battery and resisting arrest.
Officials said more arrests are anticipated.
