The household of an 11-year-old lady who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother mentioned the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed through the capturing.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law known as me and he or she was just crying, like 'I feel it just hit Miah. I feel every thing came to actuality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's trainer, Irma Garcia, was one of many two lecturers killed. Her associates and classmates had been also targeted.

Rivera said that is when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah obtained some blood and put it on herself so she could fake she was useless," said Rivera. "It's too much for me to play that scene over and over, but that is what my sister-in-law mentioned is that she saw her good friend stuffed with blood and she obtained blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been released.

"My brother said she had bullet fragments in her again," stated Rivera.

Rivera, a mom of three, said the household is rallying around Miah to help her recuperate physically, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this point, we simply have to wish and ask God to assist us transfer forward by means of this situation, I know it is traumatizing as it is," said Rivera.

Nearly everybody within the town of Uvalde has been touched by the loss of someone in the mass shooting at Robb Elementary Faculty, residents are supporting each other as they begin coping with the tragedy.
