LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray Information) - Several agencies responded to a middle college in Texas Friday morning after a teenager’s mom noticed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle College around 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teenager by no means made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the realm together with several other companies in an try to seek out him.
The teen was found close to the school’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities mentioned the 15-year-old could be dealing with a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no risk made to the school or anyone inside the school.
O.L. Slaton Middle College was briefly positioned on lockout on account of the incident.
