Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs on daily basis

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak began on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Huge Mac. I’ve counted every Big Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske mentioned.

Gorske eats two Large Macs a day.

“All via life here, a lot of people stated, ‘You’ll be dead before you attain 50 years of consuming Large Macs.’ I guess I proved them flawed,” he mentioned.

His son is just not surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We always went to McDonald’s with my dad and had completely happy meals. I all the time beloved my hen nuggets, and my brother always loved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an on a regular basis life sort of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has more of a varied food regimen.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets every day. I used to eat cheeseburgers daily, but ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t understand how he does it, but he definitely does,” he stated.

Gorske says he'll proceed eating Massive Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect until he dies.
