Tesla will pay travel costs for staff in search of abortion companies

Tesla is masking travel prices for employees looking for out-of-state abortions, joining the ranks of main companies who’ve introduced a similar coverage to learn employees affected by new restrictions in the past few months.

The corporate mentioned in its 2021 “ Influence Report ” launched Friday that it expanded its Security Web program and health insurance choices final year to incorporate “travel and lodging help for individuals who might have to hunt healthcare providers which can be unavailable in their residence state.”

The automobile maker formally moved its company headquarters final year from Silicon Valley to Texas, which handed a legislation banning abortions at roughly six weeks of being pregnant.
