Teen arrested after mom seen son had gun at Texas college drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - A number of agencies responded to a center school in Texas Friday morning after a teenager’s mother observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center School around 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teen by no means made it contained in the constructing, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the realm along with a number of different companies in an try to search out him.
The teen was discovered close to the varsity’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities said the 15-year-old could be dealing with a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no threat made to the school or anybody inside the school.
