DALLAS - The excessive court will permit a wrongful death lawsuit to proceed towards the town of Dallas and 4 law enforcement officials.
The family of a man who died in police custody in 2016 sued.
Tony Timpa called police for assist as he had a drug and psychological health disaster.
Town fought against releasing body camera video and whit it did come out it was obvious why. It confirmed the officers mocking the dying man.

One had his knee on Timpa’s back and neck for almost 15 minutes and the medical expert mentioned that contributed to his dying.
The city of Dallas argued the officers are legally protected from lawsuits.
The Supreme Courtroom upheld a federal appeals court docket’s ruling that may permit the case to proceed.

"The choice implies that the case can proceed to trial and that there will likely be no extra delays from any appellate courtroom.
