Nine Shot, One Useless in San Bernardino County – NBC Los Angeles

One individual was killed and eight others have been injured Friday evening when shots were fired at a big get together at a strip mall hookah lounge in the San Bernardino County neighborhood of Highland.

The capturing within the metropolis east of San Bernardino was reported just before midnight within the 3600 block of East Highland Avenue. Officers encountered a large crowd of about 100 people within the space for a celebration at a hookah lounge.

A shooting victim situated exterior died at the scene. A girl on the scene who recognized herself as the sufferer's grandmother said he's 20 years previous.

Eight different individuals had been hospitalized with what look like non-life-threatening accidents, police stated. The sheriff's department initially said 10 individuals were shot, but later updated that number to 9, together with the deceased victim.
