BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after a number of indicators saying "college shooter" had been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Safety introduced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple charges.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs around the communities, the Division of Safety said, but they determined there isn't a credible menace presently.
The New Hampshire Division of Safety is investigating indicators that learn 'college shooter!' which had been found in multiple communities New Hampshire Department of SecurityOne such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection division launched a photo of the plate but blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of legal threatening and three misdemeanor expenses including false report back to law enforcement, false public alarm and criminal threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No different suspects have been charged at this time.
