Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete safety barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There were two juveniles in the car. Each have been taken to a hospital and are actually in stable condition, officials mentioned. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
