Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White Home: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front across the street from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles in the automotive. Each had been taken to a hospital and are now in stable condition, officials mentioned. We don't know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
