EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 instances the legal alcohol limit after at the least 5 people known as 911.
Officers say the calls started coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.
They are saying witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway near the Essential Street exit. They are saying the crash precipitated a flat tire and the automotive to smoke, but the driver stored going.
Different callers say the motive force was all around the road and now missing a front tire.
They say he eventually stopped at a automobile dealership and appeared “super drunk.”
Workers instructed police the motive force, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was making an attempt to promote his SUV.
Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had simply been in a crash.
They are saying Mattingly smelled of alcohol and virtually fell a number of times. Officers say he examined .291 on a transportable breath test.
Police say inside his SUV, they found 4 Loko cans and a can of White Claw.
Mattingly is dealing with a number of costs.
He's the son of the manager for the Miami Marlins and former professional baseball player, Don Mattingly.
