A woman visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a news launch from the park.
The girl approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Outdated Faithful geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison live at the park, and they have injured more individuals than some other animal, the park said.
When the customer got here within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet within the air, the park said.
The lady had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two other folks were additionally near the animal when it gored the woman, the park said. The release didn’t say in the event that they had been injured.
The park warned individuals to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A previous version of this article misstated the severity of the woman’s injuries. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
