The family of an 11-year-old woman who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played useless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed during the capturing.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law known as me and she was just crying, like 'I think it simply hit Miah. I think everything came to actuality now,'" mentioned Blanca Rivera.

Rivera mentioned Miah's trainer, Irma Garcia, was one of the two lecturers killed. Her friends and classmates have been also targeted.

Rivera mentioned that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah got some blood and put it on herself so she might faux she was dead," stated Rivera. "It is too much for me to play that scene again and again, but that's what my sister-in-law said is that she saw her friend filled with blood and she obtained blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured but taken to the hospital and has been released.

"My brother said she had bullet fragments in her again," stated Rivera.

Rivera, a mother of three, stated the household is rallying around Miah to assist her get well bodily, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this level, we simply have to hope and ask God to assist us transfer forward via this situation, I know it is traumatizing as it is," mentioned Rivera.

Nearly everyone in the town of Uvalde has been touched by the loss of somebody in the mass taking pictures at Robb Elementary School, residents are supporting each other as they begin dealing with the tragedy.
