CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The parents of a 6-year-old marathoner are talking out after they are saying child protecting companies paid their household an unannounced visit and questioned their children at residence.

Ben and Kami Crawford shared a photograph on Instagram Sunday purportedly of one of their youngsters being interviewed by a CPS staffer. In the accompanying caption, they wrote partly, "Yesterday Baby Protecting Services (CPS) arrived at our dwelling unannounced and interviewed our children, parents & grandmother. This is a scary process as a result of usually youngsters are interrogated away from mother and father, against their will, and their solutions determine the agency's legal proper to take away the children."


The Crawfords made headlines final week after they let their youngsters, including their son Rainier, 6, run the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati on Could 1 and shared it online. Ben and Kami Crawford addressed critics' accusations in a prolonged Instagram video Saturday.

"The actual stuff that we obtained accused of was dragging Rainier, like physically dragging him on the marathon course after mile 13 and across the end line," Ben Crawford mentioned.
